If the smell build up in your home, buy a cheap ozone generator. They work well.

It's baffling. I really can't seem to determine where this is coming from.
We have a fireplace that has been used since we bought the house (2017). We are getting it sweeped (swept?) next week. So hopefully that may cure the smell.
The arguments have dwindled down. At least my wife (no pics) doesn't think it's gas anymore. That's a relief unto itself.

The smell only occurs in the living room in about a 5-10 area. And it only happens in the morning.

It's wake and bake. My neighbor is an 1/8th of a mile away and i smell it sometimes. I hear them coughing and hacking every day.

There's a variety that smells like burnt bologna that was stuffed inside a wet shoe.
