Under Cabinet Lighting Replacement

My house has the florescent tube light fixtures under the cablets for lighting. All having 120v going in tot he receptacle. Im looking to up grade as these fixtures are older and the covers are cracking. Seem slike a lot of these are battery with USBc, so 5vs. or LEDs but need a converter brick to get down to the low voltage. I see a few direct wire but they are more expensive.
Anyone upgrade? how did you wire them up? should i wire the 120s with low profile outlets with USBc and then i could install any of them?
power brick
direct wire

I have started down this road 5 times, and every time I get discouraged by the amount of Chinese crap options that come up on the search. Haven't figured out how to get those out of the way.

I'd replace with direct wire so that all work on a switch as before. Do them all at once or they will never match.
The new LED ones have 3-4 settings that you can change the hue of the light if you are only replacing piecemeal. Replacing all at once can be expensive. I have almost 20 separate lights above and below cabinets,

Same.
I'd love to get direct wire, since the fixtures are all over the kitchen, controlled by one switch.

Go with direct wire.
I'd go or call a local supply store and get a quote, then price shop the skus. If its close go with the supply store, any issues and they'll swap out anything.

There was similar thread recently with perhaps some good info. LINK
Here is what I posted:
We had them installed during a remodel. Loved them, except they were the old small fluorescent tubes that were the thing at that time. Decided to swap them out for LED a couple years ago.
The lights themselves were not expensive, I think between $200 and $300 for all of them. Hired an electrician and watched him do it. The wiring part was not difficult and could be done yourself, but I was happy to pay him after watching him bend over backward and contort himself to get under there to do the work. Took him maybe two hours, but he didn’t have to run any new wires. Just replaced the fixtures.

I used led strip lighting by Armacost UL Listed. Hide them under the front face-frame of my cabinets and cant tell they are anything but under cabinet lighting. They have switched and remote options. How you get power to them is your situation.
