Two leaf blowers vs one. A not-well-thought-out tutorial

Milwaukee blower with two batteries for $280
Or
One dual batt blower with two batteries for$600 plus.
I dont get the craze for blowers being so high.
But i found the cheaper blower with two batteries much cheaper than the dual.
I figure you can do more with two blowers and I’ve done this before. It’s better to articulate two of them.
Plus, 600 for a blower is silly.

Yea the $280 is what I have and what numerous of our guys carry around in their work trucks for cleaning up jobs.
I found myself using that Milwaukee more than I did my gas powered Echo at the house last year. I normally keep numerous batteries charged so running out of juice isn't a big deal.

it is silly. you need that CFM. i want to buy a battery powered edger and blower for my mother in law but i want it to have good cfm and not suck. been looking at the ryobi 40v setup.

for $600 i think i'd rather spend time and just sweep away the grass clippings along the edge of my driveway.
fwi my $80 black and decker corded electric blower hasnt failed me once in 5 years.

I second that! If my blower can't blow rocks or small children down the driveway, I don't want it

Unless you need something like a pro-grade backpack blower. Even then a top-of-the-line Echo 9010 is $650 with over 1000 CFM.

it ain't that bad, unless you've got a long arse driveway to blow off. which then you'd probably need something gas powered.

For $330:
EGO ST6151LB 15-Inch 56-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless POWERLOAD™ String Trimmer with Aluminum Telescopic Shaft & 615 CFM Blower Combo Kit with 2.5Ah Battery and Charger Included
The Powerload feature is awesome. I have the carbon fiber trimmer because I originally got a blower before they started making the combo deals, otherwise I would've bought this particular set.
