Trouble with Reimer Seeds Germinating

Has anyone had trouble with Reimer seeds not germinating? I bought a few varieties this year and only the tomatoes and banana peppers have spouted - the eggplant and bell peppers have not done anything.
I've had them (eggplant and bell peppers) on a heating pad and in a makeshift greenhouse with a space heater for a month now. It's plenty warm in there -- should be ideal to start germinating.
I could see one or two seeds being bad, but two entire batches and two different seed types? Starting to worry the seeds have rotted now, if they were even good to begin with.

I’ve not used them, but used to get seeds from Trade Winds seeds. I now rely exclusively on Bakers Creek and a few Burpee varieties of everything. Always good germination. And always the plant I purchased. I’ve had enough mystery peppers through the years that were not as advertised.
This year I bought a pack of seeds claiming to be the same variety as peppadew peppers from Australia. They pretty much all molded in my wet paper towels vs germinated.
Long meandering answer. I’ve had bad luck and experiences outside of my two trusted vendors

Reimer is hit and miss.
I’ve had some seeds that have had near 100% germ rate and others with 0.
I used them when I have to just because they have such a large selection.
Edit: try again but take away the heat pad. That and a space heater seems like overkill.

From the OP of the 2021 Garden Thread.

Reimer, on the other hand, has on more than one occasion sent me mislabeled/wrong product. I’ve also had some seeds with 0% germination. However, they have an extremely large selection, so they may be worth the gamble for some harder to find varieties.

Is there a date on the seed packet?

Reimer is absolutely horrible. Their quality and customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with.
A couple years ago I bought some Goliath tomato seeds. I noticed the leaves were a little different but didn’t think much of it. Well they ended up being small paste tomatoes.
I emailed them and they said they wouldn’t refund me due to the amount of time passed, but they would give me credit.
I also had germination issues from their seeds.
Gurneys is my favorite

I’ve had decent germination with Reimer. Try Hoss Tools and Victory Seeds.

I buy most of my seeds at Wilhite seeds. I have good germination rates and shipping is cheap.

I planted 24 reimer tomato seeds Jan. 1 and have 5 plants. The first sprouted on or about Feb. 1 and the last a few days ago.

That is exactly how my tomatoes are turning out. Maybe they’re just a little...slow.
Thanks everyone for the tips. Seems like this is my first and last experience with Reimer.

Yea I've had similar experiences, hit or miss. Going on almost 2 weeks now for cucumbers on heat pad, almost a month on one variety of peppers, everything else 100% germination rate.
