lost everything. covering won't help for freeze only frost. i went get all new plants this morning at the nursery. they wont have enough for everybody. will replant wednesday , will be 80 by weekend. mother nature is undefeated.

Just west of Ponchatoula. 12 eighteen inch pots with 44 tomato plants (& cages) scooted together, covered with tarp, and a 120W grow light in the center. One plant may have some freeze burn but the rest seem to be just fine.

Lost 8 early girls with small tomatos on them out of 40.
Covered them and used a small electric heater and flood light bulbs. Feel lucky.

Lost one tomato plant. Pretty happy overall. Covered individually with hefty bags over their cages and put a pop-up tent draped with blankets on top of that.
