My pooch has allergies right now and has been licking her paws alot and her licking has left two stains in my carpet. I've tried shampooing the carpet, but when it dried the stains were still there. Any tips on how I can get these stains out would be much appreciated.

I’m not sure about saliva specifically but I’ve always had good luck with Resolve Pet Expert for other dog messes.

Thx. I put some resolve urine destroyer down before I left for work. Gonna see if that works. It says it's treats all kinds of pet stains.

Sprinkle a bunch of baking soda on it and rub in in just a little and let it sit for a while. Vacuum it up. It has worked for me with other stains.

Woolite has a carpet cleaner that has a brush attached to the head. This helped us a bunch when we had carpets.
My biggest recommendation is to get rid of the carpet. We just did it and love the result. We have 2 big dogs and a cat.

My daughter is living in a house in Starkville while she's in school. The room she is in had 2 big dogs in it prior. The carpet in the room was horrible and the carpet cleaner I have would not touch it.
I finally grabbed some crud cutter and sprayed a small spot just to see what would happen and it cleaned up with the crud cutter. We to lowe's and bought a bunch. Sprayed the entire carpet and went over it with the carpet cleaner. I did that about 4 times and it finally looked like it was new carpet.

Reason #243 why carpet in the house is now way out of style.
It doesn't take much for carpet to get nasty with traffic patterns, kids spilling stuff, pets peeing, spraying, crapping on it, etc.
I only had one room in my current house with carpet in it and it was the one that was hardest to keep clean, so it was torn up and ceramic tiles went down----------much nicer.
