I bought a speed queen tc5 washer a month or so ago and seems I need to replace the dryer now. Is there any reason to spend the extra money for the speed queen dc5 dryer other than to match the washer? I made sure to spend the money on the washer because of the longevity and reviews, but not sure if the extra money on the dryer is worth it other than for aesthetics.

I have a speed queen washer and I couldn’t even tell you the brand of dryer. When my dryer does finally die I will look for the one that has the best lint trapping ability because I hate cleaning the lint tube and the taking apart the dryer to clean out lint that got past my shitty screen.

We've had a Speed Queen drier for a few years now, no idea on the model.
It works. Clothes get dried in an acceptable amount of time and it's never broke.

I have both SQ washer and dryer...I wanted the SQ washer but don't think it matters as much on dryers but wife wanted a "match set" so....

Bought the dryer 2 months ago and it works great. Probably better than my Maytag.
