I have some questions if you don’t mind responding. I’m sorry but I forgot what thread it was in.

Those things are expensive for what you get. Been looking to get one, but decided to try to build my own first. Will see how it goes, but might end up spending 1.3x the cost anyway (DIY + buying one).

Yup. That’s the one. I was wondering how well it worked.

Works AMAZING. If youre planning to top dress, even 1 time, id strongly suggest it.
More than a few neighbors will want to borrow it.

I’d tried to watch videos on their website but I couldn’t get any to load. Does it really level the lawn that good?

Yeah it’s awesome. I ordered mine from site one.

That one looks heavy AF.
I was going to make mine out of aluminum angle from HD. Pretty strong and light.
But I’m all honestly (and I had already bought the aluminum), this thread made me decide to just order one. I got it through Golfgriffin for $150. Reinders wanted $60+ shipping.

Bought a 36” from amazon. Works pretty good. Don’t remember what I paid $130 or so.

I usually use our infield drag. Just pull it behind my lawnmower.

I have one as well and it’s pretty awesome.
Ronk, I font know where you’re located but if your in the BR area, you’re more than welcomed to borrow mine and try it.

Can you ship it to Dallas? J/k. I’m going to head over to site one.

So this is probably a stupid question, but what kind of sand do you use? Can’t some sands introduce weeds into the lawn?
When I dug up my old and resodded last year the place where I started is too low ( was taking out more dirt than needed before I got the hang of scraping the sod) anyway I need to raise this portion up even with the driveway

Surprisingly awesome. Only change I’d make is going 16-18 inches wide. Mine is 12. I’m going to put an angle on the front 2x2 tomorrow

I assume this doesnt work if you already have thick grass like St. Aug on top?
Posted on 5/9/20 at 9:46 pm to BeepNode
Ain’t no way you’re dragging that shite through st aug. it’s bermuda/zoysia only. I cut my lawn to 3/4 inch to actually scalp the high points.
