Anybody care to update on their success/failure? Saved our Meyer lemon by tenting it using bamboo and old quilts along with Christmas lights , heavy watering, mulch and piling bags of topsoil around the trunk as an extra layer of root protection. Got down to 8 degrees with 7 inches of snow.

We've got temps in the high 70s rest of the week...all the damage should be showing after that. We weren't quite as cold as y'all but still hit about 12-13F so there's been plenty of brown

I'll try to take some good pictures this weekend.

Covered my large Meyer lemon with a heavy duty tarp and used an incubation heat bulb with an extension cord. Worked perfectly and tree looks great. Only froze leaf tips that were touching the tarp.

I'm not excited about it. Will probably lose all my peach and plum buds.

I planted an Arctic Frost satsuma two weeks ago. It says it's cold tolerant to 10 degrees. It's young, though. Should I cover it?

I think I'm going to put my tailgate tent over my peach tree and tarp the sides. Will put a brood lantern at the base.
