Renovating bathroom showers. Opinion on replacing with Pex A or B?

Seems like Pex B is easier and cheaper but may be the professionals use Pex A? Anyone have opinions on which one to choose?

I think either will be just fine for what you're doing.

F1960 (PEX A) is faster, doesn't suffer the flow losses of crimp connections, can make connections in areas where a crimper can't access. I can work with both systems and almost always use the expansion way now. You have to be more careful in selecting materials though and more careful in how you handle fittings.

I DIY’d my bathroom and did Pex B due to the cost of the expansion tool. Unless you have access to one, it’s just not feasible.
I was advised not to use the “pinch rings” that are more like a hose clamp but the actual copper crimp rings.
I would splurge on the crimps that have the plastic insert that keeps it snug to the pex while you crimp it.

Both are fine. For diy go with pex B for cost savings. The flow restrictions from A to B is negligible. Modern fixtures are bushing down so small to meet government restrictions that it honestly doesn't matter what you use. I've been on houses with 3/8" pex throughout and there is no pressure difference at the fixtures.
