I know there will be expert solutions from the OT to make this quick and simple.
Thanks in advance.

How bad is the rust? Have a picture?

the soft version of barkeepers friend, a microfiber towel, and a lot of elbow grease. try it on an inconspicuous spot first. be careful making circles as sometimes it will scratch against the "grain".

If there is rust, I doubt it is stainless steel.

I made a paste with baking soda and water and scrubbed the whole refrigerator with a rag. The rust spots were gone and the whole thing looks great. You have to be careful to clean in the direction of the grain.
I finished the job with a stainless steel cleaner to make it look like new.

It's stain-less, not stain-proof.

304 stainless steel has high levels of chromium and nickel and is very resistant to corrosion. I have a 6' mower deck I built in 1995, use it regularly, and there is not a spec of rust. I doubt this refrig was built with stainless steel.

I know plenty about 300-series stainless steels, my vehicles have exhaust tubing and mufflers made from it and they absolutely can spot rust. Any iron-based alloy can rust and 304 is the lowest in the series in terms of corrosion resistance even though it has more chromium than some grades that offer better resistance.

Stainless steel will rust, but it's just light surface rust and easily removed.

But that is at high temperature. My 28 yr old ambient temperature mower deck has zero rust.

Put an lsu sticker over the rust. If it’s big, cover it with a printed gumbo recipe.
