I know this subject has been discussed before but I did a search and couldn’t find it.
We have had a Frigidaire for 16 years and looking to replace it with a French door model. Any opinions on Frigidaire or any others would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

get one without an ice maker on the door and with the water spigot on the inside.

I’ve had a KitchenAid with ice maker in the door for three years now. No issues. Will this begin shortly? Have I just been lucky so far or would it have shown up by now if it was going to be an issue?

I have a Samsung that came with my house. Like clockwork I order a new in door icemaker each year. It usually fails within a few days of 365. Luckily I can change it in 5 mins. At a cost of $80 it's still cheaper then buying a fridge.
