Craftsman, Cub Cadet, John Deer, or Husqvarna?

Craftsman and Cub Cadets seem to have the best home depot and lowes reviews.

Cub XT1 and XT2 have gotten good praise for the most part. Probably be my next purchase.

Most stuffed branded craftsman these days is total crap, however I have a 10-year-old Craftsman zero turn that is still working like a champ

In the price range I think you want, Cub Cadet X2. If you want to spend a bit more and get a lot more, Gravely HD model.

looks like the xt1 has a throttle/choke cable... with a choke plug you pull when you want to use the choke.

Couldnt find anything about a diaphragm

I've owned Cub Cadet, Murray, and Husqvarna and my dad has owned John Deere mowers. They have all had at least one major flaw that made each a nightmare. Never had engine problems with any of them, though.

Can't say what to get but look closely at online deals bc a lot of times you can get something extra if you buy online. I got a free wagon when I bought Husqvarna online.

Would like to shop around more. But need to get one tomorrow really.

The deck on the used craftsman I have is shot to shite and the belt keeps coming off. Cant get it to stay on anymore. Was gonna try to make it one more year and buy one at the end if the season... but that's not gonna happen.

Not gonna put anymore time or money into this one. Got it used and cheap... it's time for a new good one I get to maintain from start to finish.

Avoid any mower brand made by MTD. They are garbage and you will be working on them regularly. Mowers made by AYP(American Yard Products) are solid and good.
