Pest control company told me they can’t do much more than I’m already doing. Need to get/keep rats out of a shed so I can store stuff in it and the poison I’m using isn’t doing the trick.

A cat? I don't mess with poison. Might get one stuck in your walls.

Just one bite.
It is the best bait out there.

Is there a food source in the shed?
Could try the 5 gallon bucket rat traps (google is your friend). I've heard of good success rates pin outdoor applications.

No food source. Completely empty except for just one bite poison

Have you tried finding where they’re getting in and eliminating the entry point? They’re oily, so a lot of times you will see traces of oil around where they squeeze their nasty asses into the hole.

His name is Murder Cat...he lives behind my work in the woods and drops off all manners of animals dead by our shipping office.
Rats is his specialty but I Dont think he takes independent work though
I know this doesnt help but DAMN he is badass

The best thing to do is a lot of traps OP, but it would be expensive as they would need to check them daily or frankly twice a day. There’s really no hidden professional secret. How many are you killing?
I’m up to 11 in my garage in 14 days. I thought I was done I hadn’t killed one in 3-4 days and just got another.
Are there woods around? The black plastic snap traps with peanut butter placed with the head against the wall so it’s perpendicular will get them.

Go see Paul. He helps us with every bug and pest problem we have.
Also, lawn treatments.

Following. Used to be done with mice/rats within a few days with the electric trap you see to the right, but just started seeing evidence of some for the first time in a couple of years, and they don’t seem to be interested in the peanut butter like they used to.
