I bought a Toro Recycler push mower that had a faulty carb right out of the box. I brought it to get serviced under warranty and after two weeks I called to get an update on it. They said the part I needed was on back order. I waited about another two weeks and called and they said the part was still on back order and they had no idea when it would be available. Meanwhile I’m paying some dude $50/week to cut my grass.
I ended up going to the shop and picked up my mower in pieces. I reassembled it and brought it back to the store where I bought it. They said it had been 30 days and they wouldn’t take it back. So I bought another Toro recycler and returned the piece of shite I had with my new receipt.
The new mower has a similar carb issue but it works after it warms up for about 10-15 mins. I would not buy another one. It’s also covered in rust after a year being stored in the shed.
I miss my old Honda with the composite deck and always starting on the first pull.

Things last. I abused mine but engine still running fine after 20 years. Have changed the deck recently because old one cracked pretty bad. Also have changed the transmission after refurbing old one twice. I will keep this thing until one of us dies.

Did you make a purchase? I have a riding mower but have been looking at an elec push mower. I picked up the 7amp Evo push mower this week and used it for the first time yesterday. I was impressed by how well it cut and how quiet it was.

I'm on year three of my Ego Self Propelled walk-behind and have nothing but good things to day. Handles my 0.25 acre lot easily. I enjoy not dealing with the hassle of a gas mower.

If any of you are interested in a new push mower here is a sweet deal.

I'm on my 6th year of this same model and can't say enough about it.

My 40 something year old Honda HR214 is still working hard but I believe close to being on its last leg ! Absolute best there is.
