Any prepper/homesteading sites you guys follow that aren't full crazy people?
I want to be prepared for situations like a couple of weeks without water/electricity due to a cyber attack or natural disaster. A site that is more geared to storing a few weeks of water and food, rather than a site full of people wanting to live off grid forever.
Being this is a LA centric website and you guys near the coast experience hurricanes periodically, I know you many of you guys are knowledgeable on this subject.

check out the practical prepping podcast. Its a retired office and his wife who focus on preparing for more common sense type situations and not so much on the shtf type.

I have been trying to push our 2.5 acres in the mountains in the homestead direction. The podcast/YouTube channel, Homesteady, is a real well produced look into homesteading, hunting, and animal husbandry. The guy does a great job of not just discussing how to farm and garden, but also how to monetize it.

This is a family from South Mississippi who have an awesome YouTube channel. She has the best vids for canning meats and pretty much anything you want.
They have a lot of kids. He works full time and she home schools while also maintaining a self sufficient homestead.
I learn a lot from them but they make me realize how far behind I am. Better late than never I guess.
