I just picked up these plants for free but I’m not sure what kind they are or the proper way to maintain them. Could any of you identify them so I can research their preferred sunlight and watering requirements?

Those are variegated Dracaena. They like lots of light, but not much water. They're also toxic to cats, so if you have any be wary of that. Not as deadly as lilies, but enough that if you have a cat that chews on plants you might want to watch out for it.
