Fantasy brown leathered granite (dolomite). Below is our slab. Don’t have a good pic of it installed.

I’m leaning towards a black leathered granite for ours but I’m curious how it does in the spring with all the pollen. Does the leathered texture make it difficult to clean?

Not at all it’s a very subtle texture. I prefer it to polished as polished outdoors with show more dust. There is also an option of honed.

Not at all. I keep a tub of Lysol wipes under my outdoor sink and clean it once a week or so. Very easy to clean up and hides dirt well.

I have Blaze Grill, BGE, Blaze fridge and ice maker. Sink with garbage disposal.
3 drawer storage and 2 door cabinets (under grill and under sink) trash can cabinet

100% get a sink (and I recommend a full size, not a small hotel room coffee bar sink)

No matter how much storage you build, you will find stuff to fill it up.

My island drawers hold things as obvious as cooking utensils and lighters, to pieces and accessories to my BGE and "overflow" stuff from inside like crawfish platters and fish fry shakers. etc. the other side of the island has beach towels for the pool and paper plates, plastic utensils... you get the idea.

Least used is the ice maker (for drinks) but with kids sports or day outings its nice to be able to quickly fill an ice chest.

If I would consider changing anything, it would be subbing the grill for a griddle, but not both.

Thanks! It's a first for me - never had anything like this in my life, so I'm pretty excited about it.

My contractor and bricklayer did everything. It was part of a new construction.
