Mallett Pole Barn vs Carolina Carport

I asked this on the Outdoor board but figured I'd ask on this one as well.
What would be a better value- one of the buildings from Mallett or a Carolina Carport type building?
Im in the market for a 30x40x14 and am looking into both. I understand the Mallett building is a wood framed building and the carolina is all metal.
Carolina Carport= My concrete guy can pour a 6 inch slab 31x41 for 7500 with metal keyways and wire mesh. Then the quote for the building is 20000 incl taxes, delivery and install. (3 10x10 rollups, walk in door and 2 windows). I got the building quote online from Alans Factory Outlet. So a total of $27500.
The mallett building appears to be a turnkey package that will run around 35000 (but thats with 4 inch fibermesh concrete).
Is the Mallett building worth the extra 7500 over my carolina carport plan?

Ive been happy with carolina cp. why are u buying it online vs going with a local guy? They are just resellers. Support local.

Stay away from Mallett buildings. Owner has been in hot water on multiple occasions for shady business practices and most of the labor is straight out of prison.

Price out a versa-tube building as well. Just another option to consider.

Sleepytime is right. The owner of Mallett Buildings, Lee Mallett has far reaching connections throughout the state of Louisiana. He's on the LSU Board of Supervisors, and Chairman of the state's Board of Contractors. He contributes thousands of dollars to political organizations to monopolize the construction building market for his businesses. We all know how that works.

Yea, as a couple have said already, Mallett is shady. There are plenty of pole barn installers around if you want to go that route.

I wouldn't buy from Mallett Buildings if they gave me a 7500 discount. I purchased a building from them in 2020 and they screwed it up from start to date and never finished.

Alans factory outlet had a great website design tool that shows the price for each element of the building.
I bought a 18 x 30 metal building from Alan's 4 or 5 years ago. Very happy with the result. I recommend their website design tool if for no other reason than to get a price to compare with others.
