I just wanted to say that I was so wrong about this guy's lawn.
It's not Bermuda. There's absolutely no morning dew on it.
I have no idea what it could be other than some kind of Zoysia, though I didn't know Zoysia made the stripes like that when going dormant.

The stripes are from his rotary mower leaving wheel ruts, he never cuts it any other way, it must be 6 inches deep he needs to de thatch it, It's obvious he likes the look not my cup of tea.

Had to do it. Reset HOC.
1 1/8" just gets too grainy with PGR.
Took it down to 7/8" last night and then 3/4" this morning.
Will attempt to maintain at 7/8" going forward.

I want the carpet look and feel.

Yesterday around 1.25"

Today at .75"

Sprigging some celebration on the side of the house. Hard to maintain plants there will scorching afternoon heat reflecting.

Spriggs were free, so we'll see what happens if I can keep water on them.

Looking real good. Just put PGR on mine yesterday for the first time this year. Feels late because I've been waiting for it to be perfect first. I'm close enough. Not the best pic. From my security camera. Been spraying DEF with iron every 2 weeks. Amazon has southern Ag iron gallons for $26.

How's the PGR working? Did you do a half rate?

Notice the Celebration spriggs on the side of the house now. The rain has been good to me.

Good so far. Half rate of Pramaxis, with some DEF and southern Ag iron. Will put another half rate down in 1 more week. Just hoping it rains at least a few times per week. My water bill is high.

Now that you say something...
I'll have to get on that.
I've sprayed them believe it or not. I guess I'll go stronger.

gosh dang that filled in quick. For sprigging do you just pull up runners then lay them in dirt?
