This is very much debatable. I would personally prefer a bag as the filtering quality you get from bags is much better than bag less. It is almost the only choice if you have a house with severely allergic occupants.

Everything is debate able and personal preference. But go to any big box store and try to find a single bagged vacuum these days. They are extremely rare. Sure we can go to the rare specialty vacuum repair place. That's what the market dictates for a reason. If you prefer something else, great. You are not wrong that bagged does a better job of filtering.

I wouldn't recommend an el camino to someone asking for the best truck to buy in 2019. That doesn't mean some people don't love them and prefer them.

Making decisions based on group think probably isn't the best way to go about things these days.

If the general public is doing one thing then the opposite is most likely the best choice.

So you drive an El Camino?

No, I drive a car with port injection and avoid direct injection.

EDIT: And your comparison is a bit off. THere are plenty of modern vacuums that use bags. You don't have to buy an old one to get a good one.

A better comparison would be I buy car with technology I want and not what everyone else thinks I should have.

Why do you keep repeating this bullshite? Target, Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart all have at least one bagged upright or canister vacuum on the shelf where I am. They all have multiple models that can be ordered online and shipped to the store for local pick-up for free. Then there's Amazon.

Yes, the market caters to the lowest common denominator and appeals to low-info types like yourself. So what that the money spent on a Dyson could buy a better, more reliable, more efficient vacuum...

You'd probably recommended a Honda Ridgeline then argue that nobody really needs a real truck.
