Any tips? Looks like TSP, ammonia, and an ozone generator would work. We already painted the house (didn't use kilz) and had the air ducts cleaned. Replaced the flooring. Can we clean the newly painted walls with TSP or do we need to start over and use kilz

Ozone machines work great for smoke, fantastic. I just have the $99 type off of amazon. They may even be cheaper now. Do one room at a time and close a door.

Smoke is usually fairly easy with these. But other smells you have to make sure you remove whatever is actually making the smell first, like vomit you have to clean the vomit. Maybe a bad example, I'm just pointing out that it eliminates the smell but anything liquid or material.

WW carpets and foam pads are bad about holding odors. Cleaning helps for the carpet but not for the pad...replace.

Ozone machines

This. I worked for a real estate company that managed several apartment complexes about 20 years ago and the maintenance team kept a closet full of ozone generators.

About to go through the same thing. Just closed on a house I'm going to flip. Got a huge discount because of the smoke for one. Has carpets which are coming out this week. Was thinking of ozone. I think my homemade one is 1 g/hr
