The PFG was sold out. Anyone recommend the best fertilizer for st aug? I’ve noticed mine has yellowed in spots. New install about 2 months ago

That’s probably fungus.

Fungus is horrible in St Augustine grass. Invest in some liquid chemicals like propiconazle and azoxystrobin. Read up on the lawn forum.com and learn everything to prevent that

I applied Scott’s turfbuilder at 7:30 this morning then watered well. At 1:30 heavy rain came in and has been raining heavy for an hour. I assume there is no danger of the fertilizer washing away right?

The fertilizer only washes away if you have a flash flood type event with water pooling or like a mini-river through your yard.

I've been using Simple Lawn Solutions liquid forts every 2 months, and it's been great. Thinking about trying PFG next season though. Is it slow release like Milo? I'm in Northern Indiana with mostly Kentucky Bluegrass.

Never! I own a sod farm. I don't want to mow anymore than I have to!

I just ordered some. I’m going to fertilize this weekend. Lawn looks good now. I’m just looking for it to look greener. Has anyone tried Podium?

Nice. I may have to try this next year. Hopefully Doc can keep it in stock better as I've heard there were major issues the last few months.

I really like the results I get with SLS, but it's a pain in the arse that their product comes packaged for 3000ft2, and I have 5000ft2 to cover in the back. It's a lot more difficult to divide being in a hose end sprayer than granulated.

I gotta wait until we get some rain up here in N. Louisiana. I havent had a good rain in about a month. Yard is crispy where I'm not watering.
