My cute but dumb dog loves biting walls. Looking at homes and wondering if I should go older and have it de leaded be cheaper than newer home

A dog house would be the cheapest option

I have no idea, but I have stripped cabinets and I would say you could build a new house for the same price, lol

Get a new dog, train your dog not to bite walls, accept that he'll get lead exposure which is a long term thing and dogs are short lived so it probably wouldn't lead to anything serious, just some other options.

completly strip all paint from interior trim?
Really really expensive. Also unless extreme care is taken, there will be lead dust everywhere to be cleaned. Keeping lead sealed to the wood with more paint is the most cost effective way to deal with lead paint.
I've seen instances where they opted to just rip out all the trim/cabs/builltins from an old house rather than deal with the cost and possible exposure. This was mainly due to the HO having young children. A lot of really nice millwork was landfilled but I can understand the reasoning.
If your dog is already dumb then don't worry about him eating a bit of lead paint.
Or don't let your dog chew on your house for chirst sake.

Well, if my dog chewed up all the woodwork in my new house…let’s just say the problem would be “short lived.”

I understand…you might be able to get a bitter apple product to make him quit chewing your stuff.
