How do I know if Atmos gas is able to feed my home?

Called Atmos and they said they have to send someone out or get someone to call me. Could take up to 10 business days. My issue is, I took it that they did, since my in laws have it and they live across the road from where I’m building and the house I’m staying in has it which is next door to where I’m building. I already got my gas lines ran for my new house and bought appliances.
Is there a way to get a connection if a line isn’t there? Is there anything I can do besides pray I didn’t screw up?

I'd imagine at worst, there is a per-linear-foot charge for them to run the line to your house. Sounds like they serve where you are.

With what you said, more than likely you're in good shape.
Worse case, get a propane tank. Plenty of us have them.

That’s what I thought as well but the lady kinda had me concerned about availability but propane tank could be used but definitely a last resort.

you will be fine. If there is gas next to your house, they will pay for the line to be run to a new meter on your side. I just had this done

No they won't. You will pay Atmos for the line to be run and the meter to be put in. If you had a gas line / meter installed for free please let me know who you talked to and how that deal worked.
They quoted me $600 for a 25 foot run from the road and meter install last year. I called back last week and got the same answer: "I'll have to get with the 'back office' to see if we can provide service and what the install would cost if so." Last year when I called and asked it took them 30 seconds to look up my address and spit out a quote. Today is day 10 so I plan to call back today if I don't get a call.
