Looking for a pair of thinner gloves to wear while doing DIY and home repair stuff around the house to protect my fingers and knuckles. I’m tired of always having knicks and cuts on my fingers from hitting them trying to tighten a bolt on something or what have you. Dexterity is key and they don’t have to be insulated (don’t really do any electrical work)

Mechanix Precision Pro. Essentially a tactical/shooting glove but they are great for all around use. All I use now, have three pairs for yard work, mechanical work, and a spare set...anything but actually shooting with them.

I just use the cheap coated gloves from Harbor Freight. I also use them when cooking as you can pick up hot pans and cookie sheets with them. They last for a few months and then I chuck them.

Right now I have some Maxiflex for things where I need grip and some touch. I also tend to just go at it without gloves and always be bleeding, trying to be better at that. I think I got them at Lowe's or Home Depot (whose outside/leather/work glove selection now sucks by the way).

About a month ago, I stumbled across a rack of various leather gloves at Lowes. Found a pair of deerskin gloves thst fit perfectly and bought them. They are as soft as can be and fit perfectly. They are a pleasure to wear!
