My front flower bed faces west, and i am looking for recommendations on bushes that can handle maximum sunlight. I will be tilling and mixing in compost before the bushes get planted. TIA!!

Knock out roses. Had a bunch of them, but after 12 years they looked tired. Pull them up and I will be planting new ones. They are very easy to care for.

I bought some plants years ago in an old house called an Ixora. Those SOB's would live thru anything. I rarely even watered them and they thrived. Everything else I planted at that home died except for those. I bet they are still there.

You could do some English/David Austin roses.

They are disease/pest resistant and some varieties make a very pretty hedge.

Ours faces west as well. We have blue plumbagoes in the back, sunshine legustrums in the middle and a hedge of miniature boxwoods in the front. It looks pretty nice.
