4 coats of Waterlox, on that much surface area is no small investment, compared to other products. What made you go with WL, vs hardwax or another polyvarnish?

Dogs.
But really the waterlox was so much easy to put down then any varnish. The front bedroom is Rosewood and I did varnish it. That took two gallons to do a 12'x14 area. The area I used waterlox is about 650 sf and that took about 3 1/2 gallons.
Still don't know if I will do a 5th coat with a satin finish. Really going to let it cure a couple months to see what shine there is. Also, the flooring has got darker, which I would like.

Thanks. It's just a guest house and is something for me to do when I feel up to it. I was hoping to finish it this summer, but that is not going to happen.
