Agree, I have both Lie Nielsen and Veritas low angle jack planes. Lie Nielsen is prettier but Veritas are the better users. Especially if you consider the smoother, jack, jointer, and shooter all use the same blade. You can keep different angle blades on hand and have lots of versatility
I do love my LN block plane though.

Ratchet handle Snap On screwdriver with interchangeable bits and bit storage in the handle. One of the first Snap On tools I bought when I got into aviation. Now I own like 4 and give them as gifts.

I have an indestructable 3" Phillips drill bit that I've had for 40+ years. I cried when I thought I lost it. I nicknamed it "Wilson".

I’m all about nice tools but $78 for a screwdriver? Wtf!
