Do you wear protective gear when applying fertilizer or preemergent like dimension?

Wife just said I should probably be wearing a mask and long sleeves/pants. Seems overkill for granular

Ppe will say gloves, long sleeve shirt, long pants, long socks, and shoes.

This has nothing to do with business but personally I do that shite in flip flogs. Liquid spray I will use pants, boots, and gloves. No long sleeve shirt and no glasses.

I've never worn anything other than flip flops and shorts when applying fert or pest. If I'm spraying liquid I do try to immediately shower when I'm done instead of waiting till layer.

I usually think of ppe for that stuff in reference to professionals who deal with it all day every day, not the weekend warrior slinging shite once every other month.

I do deal with it every day so that’s why I take some cover for liquids. I completely understand why the 4 times a year doesn’t worry about it. Granular not so much….shorts flip flops, breaking up clumps with my hands.

I do gloves and shoes to spray anything. Only time I worry about making sure I’m fully covered (pants & long sleeve shirt) is if I’m dealing w weeds, but that’s because I’m allergic to some random shite that every doctor just claims it’s poison ivy or dermatitis.

When I spray the house for pest control I will make sure I have eye protection because I like to hit the soffit

Same. I typically cut then spray my pre-emergent so I’m sweaty and ready for a shower anyway.

If I’m spot spraying a post-emergent then you obviously shouldn’t cut right before, but I do immediately shower after I’m done. Well I wash the equipment first, then shower. Priorities! .

I put Talstar and fertilizer in the hopper and mix with my bare hands. Besides growing an 11th finger, I'm fine.

Shorts and t-shirt. My third nipple likes the way the granules feel when they bounce off it
