Do firewood sellers buy their wood?

I see a few people in the BR area selling firewood from their house. I assume most of these are people that do tree work and sell stuff they cut down?
I've been cutting down some trees in my yard and was wondering if there were people that would buy the trucks and cut them up to sell.

1- separate all hardwoods from pines
2- get a quality chainsaw and learn how to use it
3- get a hydraulic log splitter from harbor freight
4- build a very large wood shed for the split logs to season for 6 months
5- Figure out a way to bundle them
6- find a Hindu gas station that will let you sell them and give them 50% of the profit
or
Pay someone to haul all that shite off your property as mulch

I tried to give away a shitload of pecan wood already cut into 24” lengths from a tree that fell in my yard….finally got tired of looking at it and piled it up in the burn pile and burned it.

Tree cutters sometimes sell the hardwood to restaurants.

That’s what I thought as well….i hauled a couple of truckloads to the burn pile.
