I spent hours looking for a cricket chirping, and pinpointed it down to being inside one of my interior walls. Do any of you have any recommendations on how to get it to come out, or to kill it, before it reproduces and destroys any of my Sheetrock?

if its a single one, it will not reproduce. even if its multiple, with no water or food...will be dead within 3 days, let it be.

Okay thank you. I had read on Google that they could destroy the interior and last up to 2 years if conditions were right. I am almost certain it is 1 cricket, but he sure likes to sing throughout the night

My only thought is the weephole in the brick on my back patio (DSLD build). But I do not see any gaps in my baseboard that would allow for it to crawl through. I’ve tried the method of something sweet to attract it but that hasn’t worked yet

now we know where the annoyatron ended up.

seriously crickets are the worst. they are loud as hell and then stop chirping the second you get within 15 feet of them making it nearly impossible to ever catch one inside your house.
