Looking to stay under 8K. Have looked at the Hustler Fastrak, The Scag Patriot, and the Gravely ZT HD. I'm in the Lake Charles area. My experience with BMC in Westlake has been great so far and I am leaning towards the Gravely but wanting to know if anyone has any recommendations.

All should be good machines. Is this for actual commercial use or residential?

All of these machines are kinda in the bottom end commercial, top end residential.

Scags are fantastic commercial machines and most of the big boys are running them.

Hustler Fastrak (just Fastrak) is the former top end residential machine. My dad has one and it’s been great.

Gravely ZT HD is probably the best value. This is what I’ll be getting next spring for my house.

I know you mentioned the Patriot, but if you can step up to the Velocity Deck even used, you will have the best deck of any manufacturer. The wet/dewy grass cutting perfomance cant be matched.

My dad cut 5 acres for 15 yrs with his Scag. It is a mid range and only a 48 or 52 inch too.

It has been amazing reliability.

BMC are good peoples it’ll be hard to go wrong there. Gravely makes a solid machine.
