Gotcha. Just curious because its so popular and I havent had a problem yet. The power part is definitely a thing. Its never bothered me, but nothing runs like fresh ethanol free pump gas and the exact right amount of oil. I have an ms391 with a 25" bar and itll scream with a new chain and pump gas. Itll run it with true fuel but it is sometimes noticeably less power. Thats overloading that saw though.

I have the same, thinking I'll put a 20" Sugihara on it eventually.

Its fantastic with a 20" bar. Thats really the right length for that engine.

I use True Fuel in all but 1 Stihl chainsaw and outdoor gas engine. Works great in all. .

I have the ez start model and I was skeptical at first but I’d never go back to the regular pull now.
I got the regular pull on the chainsaw out of skepticism for the ez start. Then I got a Stihl weed eater with ez start, and now I wish i would have gotten the ez start chainsaw. It's the tits.

Use the premix stuff
That's what I went with
Already used the saw and love it. Have to get used to the weight; not heavy but heavier than the electric.
