Phenomenal progress.
Yeah, you’ll be 99% Bermuda next year.
Hell, maybe by mid September.

People talk a lot of shite about how St Aug or Centipede can’t handle high rates of nitrogen, low cutting, etc. but yeah, I’ve seen it. It’s hard to get rid of turf.

I've got St Aug spreading into bermuda like crazy. There's whole areas of my front yard where St Aug and Centipede have pretty much suppressed celebration bermuda. It's still mixed in but not the dominant turf. I hit a few small areas with Image (quinclorac and sulfentrazone) to see what happens.

This is where my dad has been trying to kill centipede in his celebration. He's hit it multiple times with quinclorac and MSMA and it keeps coming back.

I can believe the SA is creeping in.

It gets about 8 hours right there. My front yard is full sun and it is doing the same thing there.

Looking at the pic, it looks a lot like doveweed or crabgrass and not as much like St. Aug.

I had no problem eliminating st aug with quinclorac and then hand pulling stolons or useing the weedeater for larger areas.

Centipede has just been bullshite.
Had it go purple/black and still came back .
I don't know if it is because it is 20 year established, but it isn't giving up without a fight.

Went and checked this morning. There was one spot of doveweed, hit it with celsius. Most of it is this, though.

Pulled a pile of it.
