Or are you saying it may overtake it naturally? I already cut at, or slightly above 3 inches. No heat stress is pretty difficult to control in south louisiana in August/Sep.

Only if you do all that. Heat stress isn’t high temps. Heat stress is 95+ in full sun with no cloud cover.

It’s not the ideal answer but dallisgrass isn’t the ideal weed.

I think I'm about to go get one of those weed hounds and just go out every day and pull out what I see. It's annoying because it's one of the only weeds I have left, but this one is kicking my arse.
