How do those windows work with airflow while you are cooking? Do you ever wish you had your cooktops power vented?

Plantation shutters that swing open and close.

Don’t miss or need any power vented blower due to the wide open space.

Nice looking setup Will. I am in the planning phase of mine currently and really like the functional shutters. Looks great.

what is the depth of your countertops where you have those two grills??

Hey Witch,

would you be willing to share your pavilion plans? I like the roof, size, and the use of brick next to the pavers around the pool. I won’t be doing any kitchen type of appliances in mine. Just a fire pit and tv, music seating area type setup.

What is optimal size? Outdoor kitchen not required except for small counter, with small frig. What about best height for LA summers?

Any of you go with the remote controlled dropdown screen systems?

Just curious because some nights the mosquitoes and flying insects are so bad I can't see myself sitting out in an open area, even one as nice as some of the setups I see in this thread.

the kitchens/outdoor areas in the pix posted here are nice but I’m wanting to build something a little more rustic, like an open barn. There’s a guy in Jennings with will fab up the frame and trusses out of rough cut barn wood and I’m thinking that’s what I’m going to do. Three open sides and a closed end under a gable, I’ve got a nice 30x30 spot picked out under some big oaks
