Good thing I am not in charge of estimating labor for a living, in my mind it was a few hours for demo, run some strings, set some post and break for lunch, come back from lunch post will be set and start setting runners

in reality, come lunch time we are just getting into setting post, and there was no need for the extra cost of fast setting concrete because they were setting overnight regardless

lots of work and still finishing up after work, but well worth it, the sense of satisfaction, knowing it was done right, learning a few things along the way and of course every new project justifies a new tool

Stumbled across this "no dig" fence video on Youtube yesterday. Seems interesting. Uses steel posts that you drive into the ground.

I also just finished a wood fence. PT post/runners and cedar pickets. What’s the board’s recommendations on sealing and/or staining? How long should you wait for wood to dry?

Till it can absorb water. Every fence is different. One may be in the sun while another may be shaded. One may be in south Louisiana and another in dry Arizona. Only the fence can tell you when it's ready. If water beads on it, it's not ready. Fence wood needs to absorb the water droplets before staining. Simple as that and it could be a while (months.)
