Does anybody happen to know anywhere around Ascension or BR that sells wooden porch swings already made?

Not BR but this business is LA-based…in Pollock north of Alexandria. They make swings, chairs, etc of different sizes and will paint or stain for you. They ship to you.

I ordered one of these and have been very pleased with the quality. It did take a little while to come in, but I ordered in 2020 just before Laura, so they lost some inventory and got really backed up during that time, but they did communicate with me as quickly as they could when they got back online.

We bought ours from Southside Produce on Perkins a few years back. Painted it and it's held up well over the years.

There's a guy on Jefferson Hwy in BR between Highland and Hoo Shoo Too that sells them. He's directly across from Nine Oaks Avenue

I believe I bought a cypress porch swing from Highland Hardware several years ago.

Polywood makes a porch swing as well if you want something more durable than wood for an exposed situation.

Saw a stack of them at the Fruit Stand on 415 in port Allen this morning. Have bought a couple from there, good comfortable swings.

Southern Produce Co. in Denham Springs used to sell them. I bought mine from there about 5 years ago and it is still going strong. I believe the ones they sell were from the company in Pollock, LA if I remember correctly.
