I woke up early on Sunday morning and applied MSM Turf since it was 73 degrees. Forecast showed a 10% chance of rain. 2.5 hours later we got hit with just over half an inch of rain. I applied at 6 am so the dew still hadn't really dried when the rain hit.

Should I reapply this weekend or wait longer to see if it stuck?

I'm no expert, but I'd give it a little longer. When I've sprayed it in the past, I feel like it's taken a couple weeks to see visible results

Don't reapply, you're gonna be fine. I believe most of the foliar uptake occurs within the first hour.

MSM turf is a very slow burner, takes sometimes up to 2 weeks to show evidence of plant injury and 3-4 weeks til the weed looks dead.

Thanks, I'll wait a while. MSM and Celsius are so damn frustrating. I like spraying Dismiss and watching the sedge wilt within hours. Having to wait 3 weeks isn't satisfying.

If you used a surfactant you should be fine.

If you sprayed without surfactant and when dew was still out, then a half inch of rain 2.5 hours later, you’ll probably need to respray. I’d still wait 2 weeks though.

You could've literally used a couple drops of dish soap.

The St Aug currently looks worse than the Bahaia I applied MSM to control. Oh well.

Could just be the heat and lack of rain in our area. It’ll bounce back.

Could be worse, you could have centipede

I HAD centipede. Most of it was killed in the late March freeze. I plugged a bunch of Celebration Bermuda in it's place and it's taking over. Hope it takes over the St Aug.

The centipede was way easier to deal with than the St Aug. Seems like the St Aug burns when I think about applying herbicide.

What sticker did you use? Should say on bottle when it’s rain proof
