Annoying vibrating/humming sound at home…

It sounds like it’s in the walls, but it’s pretty random. I timed out the last 5 cycles and they appeared to go anywhere from 1 min 50 seconds - 2 mins 10 seconds. It is a “hum” sound that lasts about 1 second.
It’s the first time I’ve noticed this sound.
Any ideas?
I can only hear it in my room.

Don’t think so…
FWIW, AC unit was set at 72° last night and the thermostat read 77° this morning.

How long has it been going on? Is your ac condenser near this bedroom? Is your ac condenser running at all?

Is AC lines frozen up? Could be blower motor "humming" but not really kicking on.

As stated, does sound like it could be a non-running air handler blower motor if noise coming from within in the house - the PSC blower motors do have a capacitor that can fail. If from outside, fan motor on condensing unit? High pressure switch on the condensing unit, if it has one, would shut it down after brief run time which you describe, until pressure equalizes, rinse and repeat. And as suggested check the suction line or evaporator coil for freezing - which will happen with little or no air flow from a non-functioning blower motor.

Go and get checked for Havana Syndrome.

It only lasts 1 second?
1st: UNLPUG everything from all outlets in your room and ANY adjacent room.
Disconnect any smoke or CO detectors in your room and adjacent rooms.
Do have a security system?
Make certain to have your foil cap on.

Does it only happen when your old lady leaves the room?

Is it happening more on hot days? Honey bees in the walls? Could be the fanning on really hot days.
