If you're looking for one. I got the lotos LTP5000d about 4 years ago and it's paid for itself probably 10 times. Cattle pens, Barndominium framing including coped pipe trusses. It's got the same torch as this one and uses the same cheap consumables. This one is slightly more powerful and I like the normal Plug and adaptor that you had to order separate on the lotos.

My lotos only lasted 2 years before it stopped working. No warranty on it after that time. I have a Lincoln now.

Mine is still going strong. I won't compare them to anything better quality, because I probably would have never spent that type of money on a PC. My favorite mod on the Lotos was I had an old 50' cable on a Century AC/DC welder that I really don't use anymore and fitted a twist lock ground on the end of it since I was tried of the crappy jumper cable ground. Mercy that was 35$ when I ordered it.

ive been thinking of getting an entry level plasma cutter for a while. Just curious what type of air flow it requires? Something bigger than a pancake compressor?

Unless you hook it up to a cnc, plasma cuts are pretty quick. I’ve got a smaller compressor, about 15-20 gal tank and have never had an issue.

Also there’s a site called metalgeek that has a pipe coping template feature that you can print out accurate bird’s mouth copes on any size pipe. I’ve used that site to print out templates for when I did my cattle pens and 50’ roof trusses on the Barndo.
