I'm showing 37 for Tuesday morning. On top of that, it's now showing clear skies overnight. May get some frost. But I'll probably start planting Tuesday afternoon. Forecast looks great after that.
I'm starting to have to pluck flowers off of my seedlings. So I need to get them in as soon as the threat has passed.

Anyone have suggestions on where to get local wildflower seeds? Finally starting my backyard project and want to be able to surround some of it with native wildflowers.

36 degrees and clear skies here for Tues. looks like I’m in the same boat. Everything is soaked from yesterday, and there’s an 80% chance of rain tomorrow.

I'm showing 36 degrees. I have some peppers in grow bags and 3 store bought black krims in the ground. Will they be OK if the temp doesn't drop any further? Finding conflicting info on Google.
I'm going to be pissed if my peaches die again this year. Last year the satsuma and peaches were killed by the late frost. The satsumas don't really bug me since so many people pass them out at work but damnit I want some peaches.

Low of 45 for me. I’m going in the ground as soon as the threat of hail goes away. Probably tomorrow anfternoon. Another round of severe storms just missed us during the night.

As long as you don’t get any frost. I’d cover them to be safe.

34 projected now, down from 36. The seedlings are loving the sun today though.
I just picked up soil and amendments to make up the 2-3 inches I lost in removing roots and first-year settling (i used hugelkultur). May not be able to get it loaded up into the beds until Monday or Tuesday depending if and how much it rains tomorrow.

First planting of bush beans went in this morning. Pulled the broccoli and half the lettuce before the rain started. Potatoes will need to be hilled up next weekend. We have a bluebonnet invasion but I don’t want the wrath of my wife if I pull them up.
And here are the centerpieces for my wife’s hummingbird garden. They will be planted next week when the last few plants come in to complete.

Thanks. I have a spot I’m looking to fill with hummers and pollinators

I’m gonna have to cover. Thankfully have plenty of clear plastic. I’m gonna throw a couple of heat lamps under the plastic in the beds just to be safe.

My strawberry plants are looking amazing but I’ve been losing about 80% of my berries to some kind of fungus as seen on the left most berry in the picture. Very frustrating to say the least. Am I supposed to be spraying these with something to prevent this? These are chandler variety.
