I'm Agnostic. You might convince the unsure. But I don't know...

Yes, the ENTIRE board has become like this...

If you don't like the threads, then don't read them - or just do what you normally do and hop in and derail them.

Ouch Mr. the Tiger.

Actually I'm one of the few LLoOT that actually responds to thread topics outside of the LNST/Lunch..

I was simply asking why the OT seems to have so many of these threads as of late. The bible study one seems productive for those interested.. the multiple believer vs. non-believer arguments each day seems a bit much IMO

Why can't religion threads -- such as Mr TulaneLSU's epics -- be moved to the PoliBoard?

I guess because not every religion thread is PoliBoard material?

then move them to the soccer board

I agree.

The religion threads are totally distracting posters from all of the Rate Her, WOWYI, IMing and asian arse porn threads.

It's a cycle. Topics gain steam for a little time, then they die off, then repeat.

HELL NO!

But, I will ask again nicer...

LL, please stop derailing some of the threads you enter. I feel sorry for them. They have this little glimmer of hope...all fresh...newly binarily coded...getting some responses...then here you come with a friendly, but misplaced: "Hey, I saw you X post in that Y thread the other day. That was great!".

Know what I mean?

Rummy

We need a NO MA'AM board where women cannot enter...like a fantasy football league or weekly poker game...US MALE POSTERS NEED TO UNITE!

Twatcott was the best 10 seconds evar...

Oh and I guess to relate to the OP, I have been laughing hard at those attention whoring TulaneLSU threads that have gone 1, MAYBE 2 pages lately. It's funny to think he may have actually wrote a book about the OT.

No, actually. I TRY to respond to whatever topic the thread is about.

ETA: I even just went through my first 2-3 pages of posts to make sure. I don't consider myself a thread de-railer at all. We all go off topic when we run into a poster we have something to say to them, but I wouldn't say I do it enough to be an issue.

You are missing the purpose of the LNBST, and if you read them in their entirety, you might have a better understanding of why I started them.

I think that, as someone who starts ~2 threads per year on average, I should be considered for czar/ chairman of the thread-starting oversight committee.

My threads don't get a lot of replies, but it's only because they're so poignant and original that virtually nobody can relate to them.

Told ya But in all seriousness, I was just wondering :) Just when I searched the word "Christian", I found a different thread every day since the 15th that was a Christian/non-Christian-bashing thread. Almost seems planned
