This board is a clear example why Chicken should implement a Twitter embedment feature…

It’s 2021, and all of his competitors have this feature. Instead, we just have the ability to post blind links and screenshots. Screenshots are the worst because you have to go through the whole upload process, copy link, yadda yadda yadda.
All the rumors and news could easily be shown in the OP instead of jumping through hoops to do so.

Once upon a time they tried to roll out a video embed feature and the site crashed. No more video embeds after that.

webm/mp4 is like 10x smaller than the same version of a gif. Plus it has sound.

I just listed a few above. They may not be “competitors”, but they utilize that function all the time.
Name one site that doesn’t use it? This site has hardly changed in the 10 years I’ve been in it. It still looks and functions the same.
The cool thing about this feature is that it can be utilized on every single board.

If I new how to do it, I’d do it for him.
I just realized, too, that he already has it implemented in Leo’s articles. I’m no developer, but I would think it would be a pretty easy transition to the forum side.

Tigerdroppings could have a much larger social media footprint. They have tons of followers across many platforms & the content put out is just basic, mundane crap

Yeah, imagine Chicken being the next David Portnoy. Imagine what that could do for LSU as a whole since it’s centered around them.

other boards have youtube embed. that would make this site way better. we had it here for a short time then it crashed.
