Please explain what O-T Lounge is for
I cannot figure out what O T means. Is it overtime? Out There? Occupational Therapy? Over thinking? Does it mean anything?

In any event, how would I know if a topic is appropriate there?

You’re overthinking it. It’s obviously not the place for you.

Thanks for the response, but that is hardly helpful. I thought this was the help board. Oh, well.

I do not understand why so many people cannot answer a straightforward question or request.

You really should have this place sorta figured out by now.

Indeed I should, but apparently I do not; hence, the request for help on the help board. Those of us rapidly approaching 70 sometimes do not communicate the same way as youngsters.

At least I appreciate the response, albeit oblique at best. Still, it is entertaining. Something to do while I await the hurricane, such as it is.

You’re approaching 70 as fast as every single other person on the planet.

OT stands for “Off Topic”

There is no post you can make that wouldn’t fit there, as long as there isn’t a dedicated board for said topic and it doesn’t violate the boards rules.

Don’t lie to the man. OT clearly stands for Obligatory Taint.

Thank you. Linear thinking is not always best. Next month, I'll be 7% closer to 70. My kids will be a month closer too, but the percentage is immaterial. My many post-70 friends are not approaching 70 at all.

Someone told me my OT topic was not on the correct board. Probably joking.

Just don’t dare post about music, tech, golf, books, politics, gaming, travel, home/garden, and movies. Those are too on topic for the board

You should start by sharing a link to your Facebook page.

The poster who said wrong board assumed you were talking about your dislike for Florida sports but it seems you were actually talking about the university given you are a professor there.

But why make that post and then provide no details as to why you dislike UF?

It was the off topic area but now that every off topic topic has its own board. It's mainly for current events and random shite.
