Note to admins: Allow threads to continue as long as the Rant shows interest

When a topic still has interest amongst the Rant posters you really should allow the thread to die on it's own.
If someone is uncomfortable with the topic and they have a personal problem with the thread they should not participate, this is taking into consideration the topic was not of questionable intent to begin with and this can be quite subjective.
This brings up my last and most important point on this subject..... deleting and to a lesser degree anchoring threads.
Don't bring your personal beliefs, biases and feelings into making decisions on what you feel is appropriate content for any topic and especially if it's due to some other Ranter running to the Admins whining that so and so hurt my feelers, look I understand anchoring and possibly deleting a thread if it's getting needlessly bumped.
Threads should live and die when our fellow ranters decide the thread lives or dies. Come on this thing called the Rant that we all enjoy is primarily adults participating right?
