Do we really need to bring the level of dscourse up on the rant by allowing 12 year olds to post on it?

Why would Chicken open himself up to add'l liability by granting forum access to a 12 year old?

more importantly, why did you call yourself 12 when the birthday you provided in your post clearly shows that you're 11?

Cinnamon roles suck brah. I prefer something more original like "Criminoles" or "Semenholes" if you're going to make fun of the mighty Seminole nation. I'm a LSU fan also fwiw.

why is a 12 year old on this site? and why is his dad allowing it?

So he can learn from the WYHI threads. I wonder how long he'll be allowed on the site when he goes to his dad and asks what PIIHB means.

Look, Your Board allows minors to sign up with parental permission, I raised my son to follow rules, that is all he was trying to do.

BTW, thank you to all the posters that supported my son on this thread.

PS.

Thanks to all those that have been of assistance, I am sending another e-mail to the admin of the site so my son can start posting. Samurai Tiger will be posting as soon as he gets permission.

No problem with son posting, but do you want to subjective him to The Rant? I mean if he posts something and people do not agree with it, they will call him a crap load of names. Wouldn't matter his age or anything of that nature people are going to flame away.

Too bad you could not restrict the OT from him. He might learn some things too soon by venturing over there.

He can handle his own with people that do not agree with him, his Uncle (not his real uncle, but a good friend of mine) played both College and Professional Football, and has helped him understand the game better than most people ever will.

I will monitor everything he does, and his uncle will post with him occasionally as well. But seriously, if you ever go on an Microsoft X-Box Live message board you would be amazed at the smack these kids talk.

He will only post on the Tiger Rant, he will be respectful, but he is a tough little dude, nobody is going to intimidate him, my biggest problem is going to be keeping him from flipping people off that flame him.

Thanks for your post, I got to get some work done now.

Right on.

If you haven't already....Make sure you show him how easy it is to pull up his post history. I was always good with boundaries at that age...so I think he'll respect your rules...but a little "proof of oversight" never hurts.

Ignore the ignorant people here, man.

As far as your problem goes they usually only allow one name per IP so your son might be stuck with the Samurai Tiger name. Any reason he wants something different?

Dad's "explanation of circumstances" sounds contrived. If genuine, why wouldn't he keep in between him and Chicken via email instead of posting on the Help Board?

Maybe legit, but it sure does sound like a Cody the Tiger type drama spinoff.

Chicken isn't always the fastest to e-mail a response due to the volume of e-mails he gets. I think the guy is genuine.

He'll fit right in! I think for his first post he should engage TUba! Should be epic watching two 12 year olds battle over Health care or stimulus shite. My money's on Samurai with a knock-out in the 2nd!

Sounds like the dad has got his kid trained better thas Laddie. If message boards were around when I was 12 years old, I wouldn't have asked my dad for permission before lying about my birthday during registration.
