I am unable to star a new thread on the OT

Was just trying to post a new car thread and got the stop sign. I tried it three times. At first, I thought I'd been banned for some reason, but I can post to threads. I just couldn't start one.

I tried to post the above article with quotes and pictures from it but when I hit post, I got the stop sign. I have since posted the link and pictures separately, which worked, so I'm not sure what it was.
