How do we turn the sound off of ads on the board pages?

Every time I click on a board a new ad pops up with sound.

I have no option to turn it off when I hover over the ad, no "x" or anything

These things today are going crazy. They are making cursor jump to the top or bottom of the page when you are reading a thread....this place is near unusable today.

I've been getting that nature made one too. And the thing about the videos pulling the cursor to the playing ad making it hard to read a thread.

If you're browsing with Chrome, you can right click your tab and select "mute tab". That's what I've done.
